Fillers

This type of acne scar healing fill in the scar left behind. This is probably one of the more common and safer forms of acne scar healing methods but this is also a temporary solution.  In as little as 6 weeks the body will reabsorb the collagen and you will be left with hollow scars again. Injections are pretty much safe and can be done as soon as the last injection wares off.

Both microdermabrasion and dermabrasion employ the same concept of scrubbing away the topmost layer of skin to diminish the appearance of acne scars. This acne scar healing method can be quite expensive and can wreak havoc on sensitive skin since it thins the skin. The same goes for chemical peel treatments that use harsh chemicals to slough off the upper layer of skin to reveal new skin with less of the scarring.

Laser

Laser resurfacing used a laser to remove the top layers of skin with the most extensive damage and heats up the layer next to it. The heating up starts the growth of new skin with less scarring. This kind of treatment can take longer and cost even more money around 2,500 depending on the clinic and doctor.
